CHILDREN and adults can race model cars, create Lego constructions or play computer games without complaint from other family members at a drop-in club.
Bullion Hall in Chester-le-Street, has just started up a Sunday afternoon session where people of all ages can bring their radio-controlled cars to race, play racing-related computer games in the hall's IT Suite or build constructions from Lego.
Keith Robson, from the community centre, said the sessions were designed to give young people something to do on Sunday afternoon, although under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
He said: "We're just trying to get this group going and get young people and older people to mix. Although it's to give young people something to do, it's for all ages."
The club runs from 2pm to 4pm and costs £1 per session.
