THIS is the face of a teenager who subjected a woman to a sex attack.
The victim was grabbed from behind and dragged into the corner of a car park in Darlington where she was indecently assaulted, police said.
The incident happened on Tuesday, at about 7.40pm, near the JJB Sports store, in East Street.
The woman was walking towards the car park when she was approached by a man who asked her the time. She told him and carried on walking, but was then attacked and dragged into a dark corner of the car park.
She was indecently assaulted but managed to scream out, forcing him to flee towards the town centre.
Detective Constable Danny Townsend, of Darlington police, said: "She was not injured, but was obviously very upset about the whole incident and we are asking anyone with information to come forward."
The attacker is described as being about 17 years old, 5ft 5in, of medium build and clean shaven.
He was wearing a dark blue tracksuit top with white stripes, tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
The victim was said to be so distressed that detectives could not interview her until a day later.
Witnesses or anyone with information about the attack are asked to contact police on (01325) 467681 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
