The Final of the 2002 competition will be played at Durham Snooker Club on Sunday, November 24.
The matches will begin at 1pm prompt with spectators welcome. The afternoon is sure to produce some high class pool and some nail biting finishes, with every player out to end the reign of last year's champion and the current number one ranked player, Michael Rhodes.

Ithe third place play off it was Durham B who triumphed over their opponents Crook B 8-5.

Willington Brewer's Droop A extended their lead at the top of the table to nine points after they only dropped one point to the visiting Willington Commercial. The whitewash was saved when Steve Smith took a singles point for the Commercial, whilst the singles winners for the home side were Colin Lee, Steven Britton, Steve Wayman, Billy Wragg and Tony Atkinson.
Hunwick Club maintained their second spot in the table following their three points home win over the Prospect Club. The home side had singles wins from Alan Carr, Paul Maddison, Mike O'Brien and Ian Richardson with Keith Hirst and Lane Sample replying. The home side then took two of the three doubles to clinch a good win, which keeps them seven points clear of the third placed, Willington Cottles B, who have played an extra match.
