Parklands and Jack and Jill fought out a sporting 90 minutes despite poor pitch conditions. Jack and Jill took the lead when Gary Bytheway scored following good work by Joe Hanratty. Shortly into the second period Bytheway was floored in the box and Hanratty converted the penalty. Parkside pulled a goal back only for Jack and Jill to restore their two-goal advantage when Hanratty nicked the goal from a defender to run through to record his second Parklands hit. A late second, but it was Joe Hanratty who put in a man of the match performance.
Priestfields overran SI FC to finish 19-2 victors. The conditions were unsuitable to the SI FC players but nevertheless, showed great sportsmanship throughout. John Welsh hit five, close behind came Peter Fox with four. Carl Hansen and Tom Hayes hit hat-tricks and youngsters Darren McPhillips and James Wilkinson claimed two each.
Cleveland Inn beat Boosbeck St Aidens 8-2 but it was only in the latter stages did Cleveland Inn get on top. Boosbeck struck first through Craig Winter but Ray Woodhouse quickly put Cleveland Inn on terms. Woodhouse doubled his tally but Boosbeck levelled when Steve Woodhall scored from the spot. Again Woodhouse found the net to make it 3-2 at the interval. Boosbeck lost a player early in the second half with a broken arm and Cleveland Inn gradually got on top and scored a further five. Woodhouse got his fourth and singles came from Nigel Wilks, Stuart Carter, John Ryan and Gary Bowes.
Big W went down 7-2 at home to D and E Locksmiths. it was D and E who opened the scoring and Evans took advantage of poor defending to put Big W back on terms to make it 1-1 at the interval. Big W opened well but conceded a poor goal to go behind and as their defence went missing. Allowing D and E to score a further five goals Aaron Thompson scored a late second for Big W. Stephen Gordon got three for D and E, Anthony Price two, Richard Bullen and Ben Lithgo making up D and E's seven.
