POLICE are appealing for information after the theft of a bicycle from a house in Darlington.
The Iron Horse mountain bike is one of only two of its type in the town and one of only 20 in the North-East.
The white-framed bike, valued at £750, was stolen from a garage in Greenbank Road between 1am on Tuesday and 12.30pm on Wednesday.
It has Marzocchi Z4 front suspension forks, with a single chain ring at the front, and has a black seat with a hole at the back.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Greg Beswick on (01325) 742128.
