CRIMESTOPPERS North-East has won a £250 "thank-you" from the NatWest Bank.
The cash was handed over to Andy Wilson, who has been regional treasurer for the charity for the past five years.
It came from NatWest's Community Cashback scheme, which recognises working people who make a difference to their local community.
George Robinson, chairman of Crimestoppers North-East, said: "We gratefully acknowledge this contribution, and that of other organisations who have been equally supportive."
