THE fears of mothers and mothers-to-be over the closure of a maternity hospital in east Cleveland will be discussed at a council meeting next week.
Councillors established a special committee when it was announced that Guisborough Maternity Unit was to close, and held a meet-the-public session last week.
Now, Redcar and Cleveland Council's health select committee will discuss the issues raised at a meeting on Monday, at 10am, in Sunnyfield House, Guisborough.
