POSTAL workers Steve Morris and Alan Sinclair got it sorted when answering a charity's plea for help.
The pair, who work at the Royal Mail's Canon Park depot in Middlesbrough walked all night to raise £575 for the Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Supported by wives Sue Morris and Julie Sinclair, the pair trekked the 42 miles of the Lyke Wake Walk across the North Yorkshire Moors in 17 hours.
Braving blisters, sore feet and aching limbs, they hobbled home declaring "once was definitely enough".
They took their boots off to check the condition of their feet and found they could not slip them back on. But they are now talking about doing it again, to beat their time of 17 hours.
Susie Fothergill of Marie Curie Cancer Care said: " With this sort of support we can provide more nursing hours in North Yorkshire and Teesside."
