The Northern Under-19 Alliance League was formed in 1996 and was originally named the Northern Youth Academy League. The concept of the League is to develop young players to reach their full potential and it currently comprises teams from six County FA areas forming the Northern and Southern sections, with two Divisions in each section. It is sanctioned by, and registered with the Football Association.
Catterick Garrison Town are already near the top of the League following a resolute 3-1 victory over a skilful Selby Town team two weeks ago.
Catterick have excellent facilities at the Central Ground, Catterick Garrison and also at the Leyburn Road Stadium, with the team comprising both civilian and military personnel. The might of the military support was evident at the latest home game. In attendance was Colonel J.R.M. Hackett CBE, Commander Catterick Garrison and President of the Club together with The King's Division Waterloo Band which gave a rousing display before the game and at half-time.
