Darlington Club and Institute host only their second national competition tomorrow when one of the national semi-final of the CIU Individual competition is held.
Two years ago officials were impressed by the club's organisation in hosting a dominoes CIU semi-final, so the honour has bestowed the same club this year.
The prestigious event requires a top class pool table which is being brought in especially from Newcastle for the day
Secretary, Dough Hesseltine said: "We're delighted to be have been chosen to host this event. The officials must have been impressed with the smooth running of two years ago."
Representing Walsall, West Midlands will be P Dobson and he will be facing P Nolan who travels from Stirling, Scotland to take part.
Played to the best of seven frames, the action starts at 2pm at Darlington Club and Institute which is on the corner of Arthur Street and Northgate.
