SUPERMARKET workers who proved themselves champion fundraisers by amassing more than £3,000 for different charities over the past couple of years, have made yet another cash contribution.
Staff at Brandon Co-op, Durham, have raised the cash through tombolas, raffles and sponsored walks.
Charities benefiting from their efforts have been the Butterwick Hospice, £1,370; the Meningitis Trust, £890; and the Children's Heart Unit Fund, £717.
Brandon's latest money making campaign was in aid of the Jennifer Trust, where representatives have received £605.
Set up in 1985, the trust is the UK support group for people who suffer from spinal muscular atrophy and for their families.
