TWO of Richmond's tourist attractions have benefited from visitors taking part in guided walks around the town.
Over the past year, the Richmond Volunteer Guides received more than £530 from visitors and the money is to be put towards the running costs of the Richmondshire Museum and the Georgian Theatre Royal Museum.
The walks around the town run from Easter to the end of September on Sundays, Wednesdays and Bank Holidays.
They start at Richmond Tourist Information Centre, take about an hour to complete and are conducted entirely by volunteers. New volunteers are always welcome.
