A FASHION boutique is displaying the work of a Darlington teenager after being impressed with her designs.
Eleanor Riley, who attends Polam Hall School, Darlington, has had her fashion designs featured in fashion boutique, Leggs, in Skinnergate, following the success of the school's annual fashion show.
The 17-year-old A-Level textile student learned that her designs would be displayed in the window next to fashion labels including Miss Sixty, Quicksilver and O'Neill, after she impressed store owner Ann Coxon with her range of innovative styles.
Eleanor, who lives in Darlington, hopes to go on to Central St Martins, in London, to develop her ambition to become a top fashion designer.
Ms Coxon said: "The standard of Eleanor's designs is much higher than I would expect of someone of her age and experience.
"I wanted to give her a chance to publicly display her work and it certainly complements the rest of our stock.
"Although Eleanor's designs weren't for sale, we did have a few queries as to where they can be bought."
