A TOWN'S residents are being urged to come forward to help police following the arrest of a suspected arsonist.
A 17-year-old has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life and was remanded in custody for a week by Teesside Magistrates.
The teenager was arrested after lighted material was pushed through the letter boxes of five houses on Redcar East estate.
A spokesman for Cleveland Police said: "Police would be interested in hearing from people in the Redcar East estate who may have had material pushed through letter boxes or seen something suspicious in the early hours of November 28."
