PUPILS at a Darlington school are taking to the stage in a show featuring some familiar faces.
Girls from Polam Hall Junior School will be performing Jubilee, a show written by Alan Simmons, for their annual drama production next week.
The four to 11-year-olds will be dressing up as old television favourites, including Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Men, Dixon of Dock Green, Muffin the Mule and the Lone Ranger.
The show also features music from the past 50 years, including Rock around the Clock, YMCA, and The Birdie Song.
Angela Foster, headteacher at the school, said: "From the rehearsals we have had so far, the performance should be a dazzling success. There are a lot of songs the parents will recognise and will be able to sing along to.
"The girls have all worked extremely hard to prepare for their Junior School production and I hope they have lots of fun".
The show will be performed tonight, tomorrow and Friday afternoon.
