A HUSBAND and wife were taken to hospital suffering from minor injuries after they were involved in a car accident.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened in Yarm Road, Low Hartburn, Stockton on Sunday at 3.20pm. It is believed the accident occurred when a silver Citroen Zantia was in a collision with a red Vauxhall Cavalier on the bridge, near Eaglescliffe Hotel. The husband and wife in the Cavalier were taken to the University Hospital of North Tees but were later released. Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Paul Harris on (01642) 301554.
CONCERT NIGHT: Middlesbrough Choral Group will be holding a concert at St Barnabas Church, St Barnabas Road, Linthorpe, on Saturday, December 21, from 7pm to 8.30pm. There is no admission charge but donations will go to Butterwick Children's Hospice.

WIZARD ON ICE: Junior members of Billingham Ice Skating Club will rehearse The Wizard of Oz on Ice at Middlesbrough open air ice rink on Saturday, from 12.30pm. The production will be held at Billingham Forum's Leisure Complex ice rink from December 15 to 19.
CAROL CONCERT: A carol concert will be held at Greens Lane Methodist Church, Hartburn, Stockton on Saturday, December 21, at 7.30pm. Admission is £3 for adults and £2 for children. It is in aid of Stockton Music and Drama Festival.
CHRISTMAS FAIR: A Christmas fair is being held in Stokesley town hall between 10am and 3pm on Saturday. There will be refreshments, stalls, a tombola and raffle, with a magic show for children from 1.30pm to 2.30pm. All proceeds will go to the Teesside Hospice.
