HUNDREDS of young musicians are in for a busy month of festive concerts in County Durham.
More than 30 orchestras, bands and choirs in the nine to 18-years category will be involved in performances.
Durham County Council's music support service at Bishop Auckland oversees the running of about 40 ensembles ranging from beginners to the highest county level players.
Of those, about 33 are scheduled to strike up at a series of performances in village halls, schools and churches across the county.
