RESIDENTS are being asked for their views on the quality and provision of environmental work.
A questionnaire is being sent to all households within the district of Easington with Easington District Council's annual Christmas card, which gives information on bin collections and emergency contacts over the holiday period.
It aims to find out how satisfied residents are with the appearance of their environment and how they rate council services such as gully and street cleaning, litter collections and bus shelter cleaning. The survey also asks about the handling of graffiti, fly-tipping and dog fouling.
The questionnaire should be returned by December 20, and those submitting a completed form will be entered in a prize draw.
The first two names drawn will receive £50 vouchers.
Councillor Frank Shaw, portfolio holder for organisational development, said: "It is important residents participate in this survey, to see what people think of the council's work.
"It will enable us to correct our weaknesses and build on our strengths."
