IN an example of boy power, Callum Linton has proved a male can survive in an all-woman world.
Five-year-old Callum, the only little boy in a Cleveland-wide dance competition in Middlesbrough, won the tap dance category.
The nifty mover was in the good books at home as his parents, Cheryl and Mark, were 'proud beyond words'.
Callum, of New Marske, was taking part in his first competitionwhich was held over two days.
He came first in tap solo, second in tap duet, second for tap troupe, third for modern solo and third for song and dance solo.
"There were two much older boys, about 14 and 15, in the competition but Callum was the only one in his age group," said Mrs Linton.
