Eldon Lane celebrated in style after their darts team won their first match for two years with an odd point success at Horndale. The singles were shared with Tommy Rigg and Keith Younghusband winning for Eldon Lane and Barry Shippen and Jackie Coatsworth replying. In the deciding team game the Eldon players, Kevin Weldon, Brian Coglan, Keith Younghusband and Tommy Rigg won to set off the celebrations.

Willington Ladies League
Willington Club B went down to their third defeat of the season when they lost by the odd point at home to Willington Lion and Unicorn. However they still hold a nineteen points lead at the top of the darts section. Sunnybrow Brown Trout and Willington Club B, who also both suffered defeats, are equal in second place, three points ahead of Willington Cottles, the only team in the top four to win.

Tow Law Coors Cup
The unbeaten records of both Tow Law North Point and Tow Law Rose and Crown disappeared just before the halfway mark in the competition and threw the League A side wide open.
The North Point were unlucky when they went down at Tow Law Football Club by the odd point, collected when Isaac Slack beat Paul Graham in the dominoes captain's game. The Point had pool singles wins from Gary Watson, Colin Armstrong and George Pitts, who was playing his first game. The footballers replied with wins from Paul Carroll, Charlie Donaghy and Arthur Henderson. The footballers went on to take the pool doubles by two to one. Keith Muse and Terry Ginty added dominoes points for the home side with Colin Armstrong, Paul Graham and Alan Henderson winning for the Point.
The Rose and Crown suffered a bigger defeat in their first reversal when they entertained Sunniside Comedian. The home side had pool singles wins from Chris Bowes and lee Mowbray, whilst Paul Moore, Morgan Errington, John Conley and John Hildreth put the visitors ahead. They increased their lead by taking the pool doubles at two to one. The Comedian took dominoes singles through Steven Todd, Anthony Ward and Lee Mowbray with Bill Railton, Lee Cullinan and John Conley replying to make a three points victory.
