ART chiefs are putting the enchantment back into Christmas with the help of an underground car park.
As part of Scarborough's Festival of Light, audiences are being invited to venture into areas not normally associated with theatre.
Arts development agency Create together with multi-media performance group Talking Birds have put together a 20-minute show, Wanderlust, in the North Yorkshire town's South Bay underground car park.
With the help of six digital projectors, they are treating the audience - limited to 15 people per show - to an intimate production unlike anything they have experienced before.
The show, which is performed regularly during the day and evening until Saturday night, is one of the highlights of this year's Festival of Light, which this year also takes in Whitby.
Most events take the theme of light, and include magic lantern shows, fire-eaters, light shows, exhibitions, comedian Dave Gorman, and films, including the festive classic It's a Wonderful Life.
