Again the team's fixture was hampered by the weather with only two junior teams matches surviving, writes Ben Prosser.
The Richmond Town Under-9s travelled to local rivals Catterick AWS and two matches were played and although the rain was heavy during the start of the first match, AWS took an early lead. In the second half Richmond battled hard and pulled a goal back which was scored by T Larder. Richmond kept up the pressure with good play from James Henry and T Larder but the final score was a 4-1 defeat to AWS.
In the second match they lost 3-0 in a game played in heavy conditions along with a cold wind. The overall man of the match was Will Henderson who played well in both games.
The Under-14s travelled to Billingham Town for a league match and continued their winning streak with a 4-2 win. In form Nathan Fisher scored a well deserved hat-trick and Chris Westgarth grabbed the other goal. Chris Westgarth had an excellent game and should have scored another goal but was called off side. A well deserved victory which keeps the Under-14s at the top of division three in the Teesside League.
