THE Under-18s moved to the top of the Fairs Software Tyneside Junior League at their half way point in the league season with a ruthless 6-0 victory against North Tyneside College at Moor Park on Monday evening.

In form striker Paul McDonald notched two and he was joined on scoresheet by Mark Adamson (2), Michael Renshaw and Andrew Smith. The home defence never looked like conceding a goal, and with some fine attacking play down both flanks, but notably the left through Andrew Smith and Robert Draper, Chester turned the visitors defence inside out.
