Saltburn Cons. A chalked up a brilliant 5-1 win at Grinkle Park.

First to the table for Grinkle was Simon Page, drawn against Paul Baggott. Baggot won a very close fought battle 65-56. Page wasted no time in settling the score after he went on to compile an outstanding 63 break, winning the frame 64-0. Binns then made it 3-1 for Saltburn after beating Brian Simpson 52-38 and 73-31. Mark Cardaropoli sealed the match for Saltburn after he went on to beat Dave Brown 80-27 and 55-42. Redcar Workies A continued their unbeaten run when beating Marske Workies A 5-1. Richard Beckham chalked up a 71 clearance in his match with Andrew Mudd.

Carlin How carried on their good form when they recorded a 5-1 home win against New Marske.

Guisborough TA slipped to the bottom spot when they were whitewashed 6-0 by visitors Redcar Unionists A.

Redcar Cons. B chalked up a 3-3 home tie against visitors Lakes B which could be a crucial turning point in their season.

Lune Street B versus Redcar Lakes A and Redcar Lakes C versus Guisborough Cons. A both ended 3-3.

In Division Two the Redcar Literary Institute chalked up an excellent 5-1 away win against Redcar Unionist B. Phil Vaughan was first to the table drawn against Peter Ainsworth who has not played in the league for many a year. Ainsworth soon got back into his stride, much to the disappointment of Phil, after Ainsworth won both his games 55-25 and 52-7. Chris Gray managed to salvage a frame for the Unionists, but only by the narrowest of margins by a black ball fight, when he beat Fairley 47-45. Fairley did win their second game 55-26. John Hartley then sealed the win for the Lit after whitewashing Anthony McGee in his first game 104-0 which was aided by an excellent 62 break, the highest so far this season recorded in the second division. McGee recovered from this and put up a good show in his second match but Hartley managed to beat him 71-52.

Carlin How B also recorded an excellent 5-1 away win against opponents Guisborough Cons. B. Lune Street A won on their travels beating Redcar Lakes D 4-2. The Guisborough Quoit and Ennis Square A clash fizzled out to a 3-3 tie. The remaining two matches Marske Workies B versus Redcar Workies B and The Lodge versus Val's Priory ended as 3-3 ties.
