Feethams will play host to its last FA Cup game this season and Quakers skipper Craig Liddle hopes a win tomorrow will be rewarded with a visit from one of the Premiership's big guns.
Quakers play host to Conference strugglers Stevenage Borough, bidding for a place in the third round hat.
Liddle, who returns to the fold following a one-match suspension, hopes a win will banish the disappointments of last season's third round exit to Peterborough.
"Last season we just missed out on a big game against Newcastle so this year it would be nice to progress, especially for the fans," said Liddle.
"Hopefully if we do that we can get a big club at Feethams, which would be nice in our last season here.
"It's also a big incentive for the lads as well with the chance to play against big teams."
Stevenage, who scraped past Hastings in the first round, will be hoping to throw a spanner in the works as they eye the same prize.
"By all accounts they're in a false position in the league," said Liddle. "It's a massive game and we know it won't be easy.
"If we put as much effort in as we have in our last few games our ability should see us through.
"If we can match them effort- wise and commitment-wise we should have no problem."
Resurgent Quakers have a chance to show the nation what they're made of as the Match of the Day cameras move in for the day to record for the evening's highlights show.
"When we've played in front of the cameras before we haven't done too badly, so hopefully that run can continue," said Liddle.
"Obviously it's a good chance for the club to make a bit of money from TV coverage and for getting into the next round."
Liddle is by no means sure of regaining his place in the side after missing last week's win over Southend through suspension.
Defenders Stuart Whitehead and Matt Clarke impressed against the Shrimpers and caretaker boss Mick Tait has admitted it would be difficult to leave one of them out.
"Competition for places is always a good thing, although I'd be very disappointed if I wasn't playing," admitted Liddle.
"If I don't get in then obviously I'll get on with it and work hard to push for a place next week."
Fans are reminded that tomorrow's game is a 2pm kick-off.
There are still 170 tickets remaining for Quakers' Third Division game at Hull City on December 14. The game, which is Hull's final game at Boothferry Park, is all-ticket.
* Quakers last night extended the contracts of Ashley Nicholls and Wales Under-21 international Ryan Valentine until May 2004.
The duo signed at the start of the season on one-year deals, but have impressed caretaker boss Mick Tait.
"We are delighted to have tied down these two youngsters on extended deals," said Tait.
"They have both impressed and deserve this recognition of their value to us."
* Darlington's Boxing Day clash at Carlisle has been brought forward to a 1pm kick-off and is also an all-ticket affair.
