POLICE are appealing for information about the theft of an unusual bike.
The Iron Horse mountain bike is one of only two of its type in the town and one of only 20 in the North-East.
The white framed bike, valued at £750, was stolen from a garage in Greenbank Road between 1am on Tuesday and 12.30pm on Wednesday last week.
The bike has Marzocchi Z4 front suspension forks, with a single chain ring at the front. It has a black seat with a hole at the back. Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Greg Beswick on (01325) 742128.
