More than 80 performers from Darlington's Rachel V Harrison School of Dance took part in a dress rehearsal yesterday for their forthcoming production of The Snow Queen.
The cast's ages range from three to 40, including one male dancer, Michael Mason, nine.
Dance tutor Rachel Harrison said: "I chose The Snow Queen as I thought it would be nice to do a Christmassy story. That's the first part of the show and the second is a selection of tap and modern called Just Dance."
The show will be staged at Polam Hall Junior School's Liddiard Theatre, in Grange Road, Darlington, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, at 7pm.
Tickets are available at the door, with all proceeds going to St Teresa's Hospice.
