POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a head-on collision which left one driver seriously injured.
The injured man was at the wheel of a Honda Accord Aerodeck which collided with a Volkswagen Bora on the A172 Stokesley to Middlesbrough road. The accident happened just outside Stokesley at about 7.35pm on Friday, while the Accord was travelling towards Stokesley and the Bora towards Middlesbrough.
The driver of the Bora was treated in hospital for minor injuries and then discharged, while the Accord driver was detained in hospital with serious injuries.
