A TEESSIDE MP has helped to light up the University of North Tees Hospital.
Stockton South MP Dari Taylor switched on the hospital's Christmas tree lights, then led a dedication of the Nativity in the hospital chapel.
She told staff and patients: "I am delighted that the true meaning of Christmas is being remembered at the hospital by the dedication of the Nativity. It is important that we do not get submerged by the commercialism that undoubtedly latches on to the Christmas celebration.
