FORMER Big Brother star Jonny Regan has landed his second acting job since leaving the house - in a role especially created for him.
The North-East firefighter will star in the touring production of hit 70s musical Boogie Nights, which arrives in Darlington in April.
The 29-year-old, from Peterlee, will appear alongside former soap actors Sam Kane (Brookside) and Sophie Lawrence (EastEnders) during the production's four-month tour around the UK.
Jonny, who is taking a career break from the fire service, has tried his hand at radio presenting and TV narrating since coming second in the Channel 4 show earlier this year.
Today, he begins a month-long pantomime stint as the Genie in Aladdin at Newcastle Theatre Royal.
Boogie Nights made its West End debut in 1998 and the show's writers have created a singing role just for Jonny.
The musical, featuring flamboyant 70s costumes and classic hits from the decade, comes to Darlington Civic Theatre in the week beginning April 7. For ticket information call (01325) 486555.
