Police are growing increasingly concerned for a young boy with special needs who has gone missing from his home.
Adam Jack Coxon, of Pottery Lane, Heworth in North Yorkshire was sent home from school early because there was no special needs teachers available.
Police said that the ten-year-old was taken from Westfield School, in Askham Lane and dropped off home at around 10am.
He has brown medium length hair and is of a small build. He is wearing a navy blue top and track-suit bottoms with the Ellesse sports logo on them.
A police spokeswoman said: "We're very concerned for Adam and have officers combing the city looking for him.
"He is fairly street-wise, but is only 10 and has special needs."
