A MOTORIST has died from his injuries following a road accident yesterday.
The man, believed to be in his late teens, died when the Ford Fiesta he was driving hit a central reservation on the A689 near Owton Lodge, in Hartlepool.
Two passengers were also treated for whiplash after the crash in which the vehicle hit a parked car after glancing off the central reservation.
The driver was taken to University Hospital of Hartlepool with serious head injuries. His condition deteriorated and he died yesterday.
Police in Hartlepool are appealing for anyone with information about accident, which occurred at 12.30am on Monday, to contact PC Neil Empson on (01642) 301558.
