A GROUP of choir boys brought Christmas cheer to children in hospital yesterday.
The group, aged between eight and 13, including musicians, from Bow School, in Durham, visited the children's ward of the University Hospital of North Durham.
Mary Tyers, head of music at Bow School, said: "Performing out in the community is always a highlight for the boys, who put a lot of effort into their rehearsals.
"We try to perform two to three times a year, which always includes the children's ward at the local hospital."
