A MUSEUM has invited people to try their hands at making traditional Victorian Christmas cards and decorations.
A special Christmas crafts workshop will be held at Beamish Museum, near Stanley, County Durham on Saturday and Sunday.
Several of the shops and homes in the museum, including the music teacher's and dentist's homes, have been decked out with festive decorations which would have been common in the early 1900s.
The workshops will run from 11am to 3pm on both days.
Visitors can take home whatever they make, with no extra charge to join in the workshops, although donations are requested to cover the cost of materials.
Beamish Museum is open from 10am to 4pm until Sunday, except Friday and will close for Christmas on Monday, re-opening on January 2.
