ADVERTISING agency The Creative Type has moved up in the world with a relocation to premises set in the grounds of the Durham Miners' headquarters at Redhills in Durham.
The agency had been aware for some time that its previous location in Claypath did not allow room for expansion or client accessibility.
Liz Ramshaw, business manager at the agency, said: "The search for a new home had several key requirements, the two aforementioned, along with the need to be as close to the heart of the city as possible.
"Redhills, with all its elegant charm, set in such delightful surroundings, has proved to be the perfect base in which to take the business to the next step."
The past year has been a good one for the agency, which has harnessed multi-media technology to broaden its "total solution package", which has helped to attract new business.
"Effectively, we've seen a substantial amount of growth come from our approach to business - which is based upon our close day-to-day association with our clients," said Mrs Ramshaw.
"Our customers like the way we work, the way we think, and, most importantly, they like the way we work for them."
Mrs Ramshaw puts the agency's success down to its total solution package, with everything a client wants being done in-house by the agency team.
She added: "Our clients are always welcome to visit us to see for themselves how a project is being developed and to interact with our designers and account team.
"In fact, we positively encourage them to do so, and have recently created an environment within Redhills for them to work with us - and to continue their own business matters with a satellite office set up for them to use during their stay."
The agency has more exciting plans for next year, with greater emphasis being placed on specialisation within the all-in-one service.
Keith Palmer, creative director at the agency said: "We have been fortunate enough to employ a team of highly skilled professionals who are passionate about the work they do.
"With many of our existing clients expanding their operations, along with several new 'blue chip' account gains, we're very much looking forward to the future."
