Darlington provide the opposition for the last ever league game at Hull City's Boothferry Park tomorrow and defender Simon Betts is hoping he and his teammates can play party-poopers for the day.
With a full-house expected - 15,000 - the stage is set for the Tigers to bow out with a win before they move to a brand new 25,000 all-seater stadium.
However, Betts, who celebrates his 50th league appearance for Quakers tomorrow, has his sights set on the dampening the occasion as Mick Tait's side look to extend their unbeaten run to five games.
"We want to keep our run going, stay unbeaten and hopefully spoil the party," said Betts.
"It will be one of the toughest games of the season without a doubt.
"With it being their last game in the new stadium they're going to be well up for the game.
"It's an extra incentive for them, but the most important thing for us is to pick up the three points."
Maximum points tomorrow could bring Quakers within just six points of the play-off places.
And Betts is refusing to rule out the possibility of a play-off spot, having achieved a similar feat with Colchester in 1998.
"When I was with Colchester we were bottom after eight games and ended up going up via the play-offs," said Betts.
"With the players we have at the club there's no reason why we can't continue getting the results and push for a play-off place.
"All it takes is a bit of consistency and with a decent run we could end up doing well."
Quakers appear to have rediscovered some much-needed confidence and self-belief under Tait, which has been reflected by just one defeat in eight for the former Hartlepool boss.
"We certainly have the ability to beat any team in the division and our work-rate has given us something extra too," said Betts.
"Everything's going pretty well at the moment."
There are still around 80 tickets available for tomorrow's game which has been designated an all-ticket match and fans are reminded that today is their last chance to purchase a ticket.
* Hull have taken Southend striker Daniel Webb on a free transfer.
The 19-year-old has signed a deal that will keep him at the club until the end of next season.
