Few games survived the weather this weekend, with only 11 of the scheduled 20 games taking place, and seven of those were in Division Three.
In Division One, East End WMC racked up the biggest scoreline of the day as they brushed aside an under-strength Northern Echo side 9-0. The Echo did well to keep the score down to 2-0 at half time, but in the second half the visitors ran riot as Neil Jackson helped himself to three of the EastEnders goals. Chris Scott and Nigel Clarke also got on the scoresheet with a brace apiece whilst John Banks and Paul Woodford completed the scoring. In the only other first division game, Central WMC picked up their third victory of the season as they beat Bishop Auckland Cricket Club 6-5 to move five points clear of the relegation zone. However, they may still struggle as the bottom three all have at least five games in hand on them.
In Division Two, AFC Orange took advantage of the Killinghall Arms' game being postponed as they moved back into second place following their game against Yates's Wine Lodge. First half goals from Chris Wardell and Richard Parsons gave Orange a commanding 2-0 lead at half time, but the Lodgers got back into the game when Stuart Bell struck soon after the break. However, despite their pressure, the Lodgers were unable to break down a strong Orange defence as the home side held on to the 2-1 scoreline to secure all three points.
Elsewhere in the second division, Bishop Auckland Derby leapt into fifth place as they ran out 4-1 victors over Jack Horners.
Dale Jardine, Michael Latcham, Wayne King and Glen Thompson notched the Derby's goal whilst Dustin Robinson struck for a Jack's side that is still anchored in the relegation zone.
In Division Three, Pepper Draughting Services picked up yet another victory as they beat Newton Cap 7-0, although they were upstaged in the goal-scoring stakes for a change as Haughton BAT were the biggest scorers of the day as they beat rock-bottom Smith & Allan 11-0.
