Marton came from behind to beat Durham City Ladies 3-1. City had taken the lead in the first half from a brave header from Julie Campbell from a Helen Lackenby cross. However, Durham could not hold their lead until half time and conceded three in the last five minutes of the half.
The first Marton goal came from a disputed penalty which City were still upset about after the game. But there were no complaints about the two sloppy goals which followed as the visitor's concentration slipped.
The second half was not as eventful although Durham City's Magda Carr had a shot cleared off the line after Campbell had challenged the Marton keeper.
