At the Richmond Castle six mile road race, Neil Douthwaite returned first club member home in 104th position in a time of 45.40.
An ecstatic Donna Douthwaite earned a well deserved second member to finish in 51.30 for 181st with Kenny Sams sharing the same time and one place behind. James Sowerby struggled to finish 53.09 193rd. Alan Thompson pipped Alan Dickinson to a tight finish both recording times of 59.46 236th and 59.49 240th.
Foreign countries were visited as two member took to international marathons. Neil Douthwaite recorded a personal best of 3.34.5 at the inaugural, undulating Loch Ness 26.2 race in Scotland and Gary Atkinson travelled to the Netherlands for the flat Amsterdam event and returned in 3.11.58, the second part being slightly tougher.
