Rethink, formerly the National Schizophrenia Fellowship, in Newcastle, will be staging a national conference on severe mental illness today to tackle people's concerns about schizophrenia.
The association has teamed up with South London and Maudsley NHS Trust, which runs the National Psychosis Service, to inform people about the latest advances in care and treatment.
The event takes place at Newcastle Falcons Rugby Football Club, at Kenton Bank Foot, Newcastle.
