HOUSEHOLDERS were told yesterday to expect higher water bills from April after regulator Ofwat reviewed price limits imposed on a supplier in the region.
Yorkshire Water bills will rise by £6 next year and £8 the year after.
Despite the increase, Ofwat said its regulatory price controls meant prices will still have fallen by an average £20 in the period 2000 to 2005 for Yorkshire Water customers.
