WEARMOUTH Bridge, in Sunderland, will be reduced to one lane in each direction this weekend.
The lane closures will be in place from 11.30pm today to 5am tomorrow to allow for the installation of traffic management devices to help control traffic for the Sunderland game against Liverpool, and from 11.30pm tomorrow to 5am on Monday to allow for their removal. The bridge will remain open to pedestrians.
CHARITY CONCERT: Durham Constabulary Band and Male Voice Choir will hold their annual Christmas charity concert next Saturday, at 7pm, at the force headquarters, Aykley Heads, Durham.
