About 100 bikers will take to the streets today to bring Christmas cheer to deprived youngsters.
The convoy of Harley-Davidson motorcycles sets off from Just Harleys, in Sandyford, Newcastle, and will travel to the offices of radio station Century FM, in Church Street, Gateshead.
The bikers will hand gifts to Century presenters the Baldy Brothers, and the Salvation Army, as part of the station's Light Up A Child's Life campaign.
Collection points along the route for unwrapped presents for the appeal have been set up at Patterson Ford, Priory and Jennings Ford dealerships, Asda, Northern Rock, BHS, North-Eastern Co-Ops, Northern Electric, Raby Castle Christmas Shop and Century FM.
