THE third edition of a video diary telling the story of life in a North Yorkshire market town, has been released.
Mike Porter has been chronicling affairs in Richmond on video since 1998, catching events such as the Millennium celebrations, the collapse of the Mercury Bridge, and the fire at the old convent on Reeth Road.
And with new technology becoming increasingly popular, the newest addition to the Richmond Diary collection is also available on DVD.
The 2002 edition includes footage of public reaction to proposals to relocate the bus parking bays from Market Place to Queen's Road, an examination of the town's ancient guilds, and the town council's decision to leave a time capsule in the walls of the Trinity Church Tower.
Copies are available from Studio 5 and Trinity Video, other shops around Richmond or by contacting (01748) 850640.
