A TOTAL of 35 people have been arrested in the past four weeks by police involved in a clamp-down on Internet child porn.
North Yorkshire Police said in a statement yesterday that 70 computers have been seized along with a large number of CDs and floppy discs, as part of Operation Ore in the county.
Of those arrested, four are from Northallerton, one from Richmond, six from the Skipton area, five from Harrogate, three from Scarborough, seven from York, four from Selby and five from the Ryedale district.
All have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
