THE children of Thirsk Community Primary School wowed the grown-ups when they staged a glittering production telling the story of the Little Angel.
The 109 pupils aged between four and seven entertained more than 320 parents, carers, visitors and staff - and it was an overwhelming experience for some of them.
Reception teacher Ruth Chapman said: "The children are absolutely shattered - so much so that in the second show the child representing the turkey fell asleep in the arms of a teacher."
Jemma Bullock, head of reception, was behind the production.
She said: "It really has been a magical production which would not have been possible without the dedication of the teachers, parents and children alike."
