Bishop Auckland & District CIU Winter Games
Tindale Crescent made a good away victory at Horndale in the darts section to move up behind the leaders Cockton Hill. The visitors had wins from K. Spensley, who hit two 180's, A. Whaling, who hit one maximum, and D. Stewart to go with the win in the team game, whilst B. Shippen took Horndale's point.
Cockton Hill slipped up in the darts section when West Auckland went on to win by the odd point. West had wins from R. Douthwaite, C. Kitch and J. Rowe, whilst the Hill replied with a win from T. Ward to add to the team game point.
Eldon Lane moved into second place in the dominoes section after they only dropped one point at Evenwood. The home side's winner was R. Preston, whilst A. Wheldon, R. Thompson and J. Bell took the Lane to victory.
Horndale went five points clear at the top of the fives and threes section after they only dropped one point to the visiting Tindale Crescent. D. Hodgson, J. Bowron and C. Musgrave won for Horndale with J. Lythe taking Tindale's only point.

Willington Ladies League
In the top of thee table clash in the darts section, Sunnybrow Brown Trout beat the visiting Willington Club B by three points. However the good start to the season from the Club B team is still bearing fruit for they hold a fourteen points lead over the Trout, who are five ahead of Willington Club A.
Hunwick Joiners Arms whitewashed their hosts at Willington Black Horse A to go five points clear at the top of the dominoes section. Willington Club B, who occupy second place, are four points behind the Joiners Arms but four points in front of Willington Burn.

Tow Law Coors Cup
Tow Law Rose and Crown went down to their first defeat when they went down by the odd point at Tow Law Football Club. The footballers went into a three points lead at pool with wins from Terry Ginty, Paul Carroll and Charlie Donaghy but Steven Todd, Adam Orton and Anthony Ward levelled. Gavin Hammell and Steven Todd won the first two dominoes points but then Arthur Henderson, Terry Ginty and Keith Muse put the home side ahead, before Steven Todd won the captain's dominoes for the Rose and Crown. The footballers went to their odd point victory when they won two of the three pool doubles.
Tow Law North Point moved up level with the footballers and the Rose and Crown after they beat the visiting Tow Law Dan's Castle A. The visitors only had David Craggs as a pool singles winner but they took two of the doubles and dominoes points from Lee Furber, Anthony Hird, Jamie Dowson and Lee Stockdale. The North Point's winners were Gary Watson, Alan Henderson, George Pitts, Steve Simmons and Colin Armstrong won.
In the other section, Tow Law New Market B continued their unbeaten record with a three points victory at Hamilton Row Black Horse. Barry Sims took a pool, a dominoes point and the captain's point, with Chris Elliss adding a pool point and Alan Taylor a dominoes point for the Black Horse, whilst the scorers for the New Market B were John Beveridge, David Spencer, Ray Weir, Gavin Tennant, Tom Hauxwell Michael Bell and Robert Hopps.
