GRANTS of up to £5,000 are being made available for tourism businesses along the North Yorkshire coast.
The grant scheme is part of a coastal tourism initiative developed by the development agency Yorkshire Forward.
The group has made the cash available to help businesses improve visitor numbers and meet changing customer requirements.
The chief executive of the Yorkshire Tourism Board, David Andrews, said: "It is imperative that we continually develop and drive up the quality of our coast."
