ART lovers in Hartlepool have just a few days to see the final exhibition of Tom McAndrew, the founder of the renowned Hartlepool Art Group.
Mr McAndrew died last year, aged 85, and the art group he founded has paid tribute by exhibiting his work at the town's art gallery in Church Square. Among those who took the chance to visit the exhibition was 15-year-old Vincent O'Donoghue, above, viewing Tom McAndrew's 1980s' painting, Weeping Elm, at Hartlepool Art Gallery. Mr McAndrew's work is not for sale, but paintings, ceramics and other crafts by artists from across Britain can be purchased. The exhibition is on view until Sunday, and the gallery is open from 10am to 5.30pm today, tomorrow and Saturday, and from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday.
