The last Sunday of the year saw 11 Harriers participating in the Jolly Holly Jog 10k at Ripon, in conditions which were on the damp side, and very muddy in places!
The event was won by Under-21 runner Ricky Wilson of Scarborough in a time of 34.52 minutes.
Robert Hudson of Bingley was second in 35.04. Oliver Harrison was the first Harrier to finish, in 50th place, in 42.49, and he was second in the Under-21 category. Alan Harman was 54th in 43.16, Jill Soper 58th in 43.47, Alasdair Thorpe 82nd in 45.38, Roy Bainbridge 89th in 46.14, Steve Harrison 121st in 48.08, Ian Codling 158th in 51.21, Nicola Thorpe 161st in 51.32, Sally Harrison 219th in 57.28, Pamela Sherlock 258th in 62.05 and Marian Codling 272nd in 64.27. There were more than 280 finishers in this friendly, popular and well marshalled event.
